A 22-year-old courier, E.C.K., who attempted to enter the home of a young woman to whom he delivered an order and was detained on charges of harassment, was released by the court with a judicial control decision. In his statement at the police station, the courier claimed that he thought the woman would close the door without giving him the money once he entered, which is why he entered the house as a precaution.
In the Çankaya district of Ankara, a courier named E.C.K. (22), who attempted to enter the home of a woman he delivered an order to and was detained on charges of harassment, was released under judicial control.
ENTERED THE HOUSE AND CHECKED THE SURROUNDINGS
A woman named M.Ç., who lives alone on Necatibey Street, ordered food from a restaurant around 2:00 AM the previous day. After receiving the order from the courier at the door, M.Ç. went inside to get her credit card. At that moment, the courier E.C.K. entered the house through the open door with his shoes on and checked the surroundings.
SECURITY CAMERA CAPTURED IT SECOND BY SECOND
Noticing the situation, M.Ç. closed the door and pushed the courier outside. The courier left the house after the woman made the payment. The courier entering the house behind the woman and checking the inside was captured by the security camera.
THOUGHT SHE WOULD CLOSE THE DOOR WITHOUT PAYING
M.Ç. filed a harassment complaint against the courier with her boyfriend Y.G. The courier E.C.K., who was detained by the police, claimed in his statement that he thought the woman would close the door without paying when she went inside, stating that they often experienced such incidents and that he entered for precautionary reasons.
RELEASED
After his procedures, E.C.K. was brought to the courthouse and was released by the court with a judicial control decision.
