58 PEOPLE DETAINED
Last week, the Interior Minister of the fallen government, Bruno Retailleau, stated at a press conference in Paris that a total of 230 protests have been held across the country so far. Retailleau announced that 58 people have been detained nationwide, including 11 in the capital, Paris. Meanwhile, in the southern Mediterranean city of Marseille, police officers kicked and pushed a female protester on the ground, telling her to "get lost."
THEY BLOCKED THE FACTORY ENTRANCE WITH PALLETS
Additionally, at a different location in the city, protesters blocked the entrance of the Eurolinks factory, which they accused of producing machine gun ammunition for Israel, with trash cans, vehicle tires, and wooden pallets. The protesters hung a banner on the barricade they made with pallets that read, "Let's close the genocidal factory."
