In Rize, 14-year-old Gizem K. lost her life after falling from the fire escape on the 4th floor of her middle school. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The incident occurred around 11:00 AM at Rize Anadolu İmam Hatip Middle School on Atatürk Street in Müftü Neighborhood. 8th-grade student Gizem K. fell from the fire escape inside the building on the 4th floor where her classroom is located. Her classmates, who saw her fall, informed their teachers about the situation.
DIED IN HOSPITAL
Gizem K., who was intervened by the medical teams that arrived at the school upon notification, was taken to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Training and Research Hospital. Despite all efforts, Gizem K. could not be saved. The investigation conducted by the police teams, who carried out examinations at the school after the incident, is ongoing.
