In a tea house in Mardin, a fight broke out between customers and employees over the issue of a "dirty rummy set," resulting in bloodshed. A 20-year-old young man was shot in the head while trying to separate the armed and knife-wielding brawl and lost his life.

In the Yenişehir neighborhood of the Artuklu district in Mardin, terrifying moments were experienced last night at a café. A dispute that started between the café staff and customers quickly escalated into a fight involving firearms and knives.

20-YEAR-OLD YOUNG MAN LOST HIS LIFE

In the fight that spilled into the street, S.K. (40), F.B. (18), and Barış Allak (20) were injured. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of bystanders. The injured were taken to Mardin Training and Research Hospital after the initial intervention by health teams. Barış Allak, who was shot in the head, lost his life despite all interventions at the Şanlıurfa Harran University Medical Faculty Hospital to which he was transferred. It was learned that Allak's funeral would be held in the rural Yalım neighborhood of Artuklu district after the autopsy procedures.

THE FIGHT STARTED OVER A "DIRTY OKAY SET"

It was reported that four people who wanted to play were angered by the dirty okay set, and during the escalating argument, Barış Allak was shot in the head while trying to break up the fight. On the other hand, it was learned that the condition of the injured was good, and the investigation initiated regarding the incident is ongoing.
