Muzaffer Gülşen, who learned that his sons had been martyred a day later, stated that despite 9 years passing since the coup attempt, his pain is still fresh. He mentioned that he thought his children were at home that evening, saying, "They are dead. I didn't hear until the evening, I heard close to bedtime. Crying is of no use. Days pass with crying and saying. I heard they had gone, but I didn't hear that my children had gone. I said Hakan is working, I said Mehmet is at the shop," he expressed. He shared that he learned about the deaths of his two sons and son-in-law from his middle son, saying, "My mother told me to sit next to her. I was shocked. They said they are coming heavily injured. I said, can someone come heavily injured, is there death?"

"I EVEN WENT TO THE GRAVE AT NIGHT"

Gülşen, stating that his pain is still like the first day, said, "The painful days go by, it's unbearable, but we endure, what can we do? Allah gives us strength, and we endure. This year will be 9 years." He mentioned that he often visits the cemetery, saying, "I even went to the grave at night. I sat there crying, talking, and I fell asleep. I think I'm at home. Can one go to the cemetery at night? I couldn't help it. I said, talk to me. Cry, shout, say, it doesn't become right," he expressed. Gülşen placed a photo of his children in front of the chair he sits in at home, noting that he watches them there all day and does not sit anywhere else.
