A fire that broke out in a grassy and scrubland area in the Bodrum district of Muğla burned 5 hectares of land. The fire was extinguished with the intervention of the teams.

The forest fire in Bodrum, caused by electric wires, burned an area of 5 hectares; the fire was extinguished as a result of the intervention of the fire crews.

The fire started in the Akyarlar Lighthouse Point of Bodrum district in Muğla when electric wires touched each other due to the wind.

THE FIRE SPREAD RAPIDLY

The fire, which started in grassy and scrubland, grew rapidly. Citizens tried to extinguish the fire with garden hoses and buckets. The fire also threatened homes. The locals made intense efforts to prevent the flames from reaching their houses.
