The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has announced the export ban and quota types for natural flower bulbs for the year 2025. With the communiqué published in the Official Gazette, the export of many plants has been prohibited, while export quotas have been set for certain species.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has determined the types of natural flower bulbs that will be subject to export bans and quotas for the year 2025.
The communiqué regarding the Export List of Natural Flower Bulbs for the Year 2025, prepared by the Ministry, has been published in the Official Gazette.
TULIP, SNAKE'S FOOT, SNAKE'S ROOT, AND MORE
Accordingly, some plants such as wild-collected bulbs, yogurt flower, crocus, reverse tulip, lily, muscari, black crocus, tulip, snake's foot, snake's root, chasmogamous, snake's knife, water lily family, orchid family, snake's cushion, sand lily, eastern hyacinth, cenchrus, cyclamen, snowdrop, iris, peony, and other tuberous and bulbous species will not be allowed for export.
Export quotas have also been determined for some cyclamen varieties, Taurus and Black Sea snowdrops, and yellow-crowned species. The communiqué will come into effect on January 1, 2025.
