ATTORNEY GENERAL ANNOUNCED
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the FBI had arrested four individuals planning a bomb terrorist attack against personnel and vehicles of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas of California. Bondi stated that a horrific terrorist plot was thwarted with the operation.

According to officials, the Turtle Island Liberation Front, an extreme leftist, anti-government, and anti-capitalist group, was planning to attack a series of targets in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve. As part of the plan, ICE agents and vehicles were also to be targeted.
4 PEOPLE ARRESTED
In connection with the incident, four individuals named Audrey Illeene Carroll, Zachary Aaron Page, Dante Gaffield, and Tina Lai were arrested. The suspects are charged with conspiracy and possession of an unregistered destructive device.
OPERATION MIDNIGHT SUN
According to the attack plan uncovered by the FBI, the group was planning to place explosive devices at five different locations in the Los Angeles area at midnight on New Year's Eve. The suspects named the attack "Operation Midnight Sun" and had planned to test the homemade bombs in the Mojave Desert on December 12.
Officials stated that the FBI intervened with the suspects before the explosive devices were completed. The operation prevented a potential disaster.
