A person who got out of their vehicle on the July 15 Martyrs Bridge and climbed over the railing jumped into the Bosphorus. It was determined that the individual pulled out of the water by the teams had lost their life, and an ID issued in the name of businessman İlhan Arık was found on them.
The lifeless body of a person who committed suicide by jumping from the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in Istanbul was found; an identity card issued in the name of businessman İlhan Arık (41) was found on the person.
According to information obtained around 14:00 on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge in Istanbul, a person who got out of their vehicle and climbed over the railing jumped into the Bosphorus.
THE LIFLESS BODY WAS RECOVERED FROM THE SEA
Upon notification from witnesses, teams from the Istanbul Fire Department Underwater Search and Rescue (ISAK), the Coast Guard Command, and the Marine Police were dispatched.
The teams, which quickly began search operations in the Bosphorus, brought the person in the water to the Ortaköy pier. Initial checks by health teams determined that the man had lost his life.
AN IDENTITY CARD ISSUED IN THE NAME OF İLHAN ARIK WAS FOUND
Crime scene investigation teams found an identity card issued in the name of businessman İlhan Arık (41) on the body. The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the investigations by the public prosecutor and police teams were completed.
