With the force of the collision, the car was turned into a pile of scrap metal, while the pickup truck overturned into the ditch. Upon receiving reports from witnesses of the accident, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. In the accident, the car driver Halis T., his wife Bedia T., and their daughter Damla T. were seriously injured, while the pickup truck driver Hasan T. was slightly injured.
The injured were taken to Ceyhan State Hospital by health teams. After the intervention there, Halis T. and Bedia T. were transferred to Adana City Training and Research Hospital. An investigation into the accident is being conducted by the gendarmerie.
