The court has made a decision in the "annulment of marriage" case filed by İpek Kıraç, the daughter of businessman İnan Kıraç. The 18th Family Court of Anatolian Istanbul ruled for the annulment of the marriage, stating that Kıraç was not of sound mind at the time of his marriage to Emine Alangoya, based on the report from the Forensic Medicine Institution, and that he lacked legal and actual capacity.
The expected decision has been made in the case opened by İpek Kıraç for the annulment of the marriage of famous businessman İnan Kıraç to Emine Alangoya. The court ruled for the annulment of the marriage, citing that Kıraç did not have legal and actual capacity during the marriage, based on the report prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institution.
HIS MENTAL STATE WAS NOT STABLE
İpek Kıraç claimed that the marriage to Emine Alangoya was invalid due to her father's health condition and brought the matter to court. In the case heard at the Istanbul Anatolian 18th Family Court, İnan Kıraç was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institution and underwent comprehensive neurological tests.
The detailed report prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institution stated that İnan Kıraç's mental state was not stable, that he was unable to act on his own will, and that he had lost his actual capacity. The court decided to revoke Kıraç's actual capacity and appoint a guardian for him based on this report.
MEASURES WERE ALSO TAKEN ON HIS ASSETS
In line with the court's decision, a guardianship measure was placed on İnan Kıraç's bank accounts, movable assets, and company shares, as well as any funds and stocks he may have. The court also appointed Lawyer Atakan Yılmaz and Lawyer Mert Öztekin as temporary guardians.
THE COURT MADE A DECISION: MARRIAGE ANNULLED
In the final hearing of the case heard at the Istanbul Anatolian 18th Family Court, the court panel evaluated all reports and evidence in the file. As a result, the court ruled for the annulment of the controversial marriage, concluding that İnan Kıraç was lacking legal and actual capacity at the time of the marriage.
After the decision, attention turned to İpek Kıraç and Emine Alangoya, but no statement has yet been made by either party regarding the matter.
