A female cyclist in Brazil lost her life when a large speaker fell on her just a few meters before the finish line.

In a heartbreaking accident that took place during a bicycle race in the city of Baianopolis, Brazil, a mother of two in her 30s, cyclist Jaiane Oliveira, lost her life when she was very close to the finish line.

In the final moments of the race, another competitor collided with Jaiane's bicycle. As a result of this collision, Jaiane was thrown towards a truck belonging to a sound system standing at the edge of the track. Due to the impact of the collision, one of the large speakers on the truck fell on Jaiane.

The spectators at the scene immediately rushed to help. They tried to lift the speaker and administer first aid to Jaiane, but they were not successful. Jaiane, who was urgently taken to the hospital, could not be saved due to severe head trauma.

The organizing body of the race, Dubai Bikers, expressed their deep sorrow on their social media account, stating, "The loss of this special person has deeply shaken all of us. We hope that Jaiane's memories and the mark she left behind will give strength to her loved ones."

The footage of the accident was shared on social media, but most of the content was not published due to being disturbing. The local police have initiated an investigation into the incident. However, it was reported that the sound system truck involved in the accident had left the scene.

It was learned that Jaiane's husband also participated in the same race and left behind twin boys. This tragic incident once again highlighted the importance of safety measures in cycling sports.
