A forest fire broke out during the day in the Akseki district of Antalya. While the fire in the wooded area between two neighborhoods is spreading rapidly, teams continue to intervene from air and ground.
Efforts to extinguish the fire that broke out in a forested area in the Akseki district of Antalya continue from the air and on the ground.
FIRE CONTINUES FOR HOURS
The fire, which started for an undetermined reason in the forested area between the Menteşbey and Sarıhaliller neighborhoods, was reported to the authorities.
Upon the notification, 9 helicopters, 3 firefighting planes, 45 water tankers, 21 water supply vehicles, 12 initial response vehicles, 4 construction machines, and numerous forest workers affiliated with the Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the area.
The teams continue their intervention from the air and on the ground to bring the flames under control.
