The incident occurred in the evening hours on the Malatya-Ankara highway near the Sultansuyu Agricultural Enterprise in the Akçadağ district. Allegedly, a group of racehorses that escaped from their paddock ran onto the highway. During this time, passing vehicles collided with the horses.
