Three workers affected by gas at a biogas facility in the Suluova district of Amasya were taken to the hospital. However, there was sad news from the governorship. It was announced that the workers had died despite all the interventions.
Three people working at the Yüksel Energy Biogas Facility in the Suluova district of Amasya were hospitalized due to gas exposure. Following the incident at the facility operating in the Suluova Livestock Organized Industrial Zone, AFAD, fire, and health teams were dispatched to the area.
The teams evacuated the affected employees from the location. Three individuals, reported to be affected by biogas, were taken to the hospital by ambulances for treatment.
In a statement from the Amasya Governorship, it was reported that the three workers who were taken to the hospital had lost their lives.
A STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNORATE
The statement included the following: "At 15:15 today, we received a report at our 112 Emergency Call Center regarding a poisoning incident at the Yüksel Energy Biogas Facility operating in the Livestock Organized Industrial Zone in our Suluova District.
Following the report, health, AFAD CBRN, and fire teams were urgently dispatched to the scene. Our teams evacuated three citizens who were at the scene and were at risk due to gas exposure, and they were sent to hospitals.
A judicial and administrative investigation has been initiated regarding the matter.
Respectfully announced to the public."
