Sixty-year-old Yılmaz Dolgun, who was cleaning weeds with a motorized brush cutter in Balıkesir, was attacked by wild bees after accidentally disturbing their nest. It was learned that Dolgun had an allergy to bee stings, and he lost his life. Upon receiving the news of her husband's death, Nezaket Dolgun suffered a heart attack.
On July 16, Tuesday, around 18:00, a heartbreaking incident occurred in the rural Doğruca neighborhood of Bandırma district in Balıkesir. Yılmaz Dolgun (60), who went to his hobby garden with his wife Nezaket Dolgun, accidentally disturbed a nest of wild bees while mowing grass with a motorized scythe.
FATHER OF 2 CHILDREN DIED IN BEE ATTACK Dolgun, who was attacked by the bees and was found to have an allergy, quickly fell ill. Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon Nezaket Dolgun's notification. The father of two, who received first aid in the garden and was taken to Bandırma Training and Research Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved.

BURIED After the autopsy conducted at the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institution, Yılmaz Dolgun's body was received by his relatives. The funeral was buried in Bandırma City Cemetery after the prayer held at the Dersaadet Mosque in Sunullah Neighborhood.
