A new province has been added to the Family and Youth Fund.

The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that another province has been added to the Family and Youth Fund.

Göktaş stated in her announcement on social media:

"We have started to accept applications from Osmaniye as of today for the Family and Youth Fund, which enables our young people to establish a strong and solid foundation for their families."

HERE ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR BENEFITING FROM THE FUND

Individuals who will apply to benefit from the project must reside in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya provinces, or İslahiye and Nurdağı districts of Gaziantep province on February 6, 2023, and at the time of application.

Both partners of couples who are getting married must meet the following criteria:

• Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey,

• Being between the ages of 18-29 as of the application date (not having reached the age of 30),

• Not owning or having shares in immovable property outside of the 11 provinces affected by the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 (Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa),

• The total average income of the couple for the last 6 months and the total income for the last month must not exceed 2 times the minimum wage,

• Having at least 2 months and at most 6 months left until the official wedding date,

• Committing to benefit from the pre-marital and post-marital education and counseling services provided by the Ministry,

• Not having a final conviction for crimes against the security of the state, the constitutional order, and the functioning of this order, as well as crimes against sexual integrity; not having a conviction for drug or stimulant substance production and trafficking, facilitating their use, buying, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulant substances for use, even if they have been granted amnesty.

APPLICATIONS WILL BE MADE THROUGH E-GOVERNMENT

During the application process through e-Government, the required place of residence certificate, title deed information, and criminal record can be obtained online from the relevant institution. The annual income statement is also reported through e-Government.

Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş also reminded that they started the pilot application of the Family and Youth Fund in 4 provinces and 2 districts affected by the earthquakes on February 6, 2023. "We have received applications from Adıyaman, İslahiye and Nurdağı districts of Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Malatya in the first stage. We have also started to accept applications from Karabük, Bartın, and Zonguldak, where the fertility rate is the lowest. Within this scope, 12,519 young couples have applied to the Family and Youth Fund so far, and 3,963 couples who meet the criteria have benefited from the loan. These numbers will undoubtedly increase in the coming periods."
