In the accident that occurred at the İZBAN Ege Kent 2 Station in İzmir, security officer Güngör Serhan fell into the gap between the train and the platform. Despite all interventions, he could not be saved.

The İzmir Suburban System (İZBAN) security officer Güngör Serhan Yeniaydın, 44 years old, who was working at the İzmir Water and Sewerage Administration (İZSU) at the Ege Kent 2 Station, lost his balance and fell into the gap between the moving train and the passenger waiting platform.

HE LOST HIS LIFE

Yeniaydın was trapped in the gap where he fell and was seriously injured. After the train stopped, Güngör Serhan Yeniaydın was pulled out from where he was and first aid was administered at the scene. The individual, who was taken to the hospital, unfortunately lost his life despite all the interventions. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
