As the increase in oil prices continues to reflect on fuel prices, a rise of 2 lira and 30 kuruş in diesel prices is expected. With the price increase that will be reflected at the pump, diesel will be sold for 54 lira and 65 kuruş in Istanbul.

DIESEL PRICE INCREASE OF 2 LIRA 30 KURUŞ IS COMING
The increase in oil prices continues to reflect on fuel prices. After a recent decrease of 93 kuruş, a price increase of 2 lira 30 kuruş is expected for diesel this time.
IN ISTANBUL, IT HAS EXCEEDED 54 LIRA
With the increase, diesel will rise to 54 lira 65 kuruş in Istanbul, 55 lira 66 kuruş in Ankara, and 56 TL in Izmir.
HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?
Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average prices of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may show slight variations due to competition and freedom among companies and cities.
EPGIS HAD DECIDED NOT TO ANNOUNCE PRICE CHANGES
After the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) filed a complaint against EPGIS, the only union that explains price changes, the union announced that it would not share fuel price changes with citizens until the legal process is concluded.
