EXPULSION REQUEST FOR CHP MAYOR Regarding the issue, CHP Provincial Chairman Erdem Doğancı made a written statement. In his statement, Doğancı expressed that due to the news circulating in the public in Altınova district, the relevant member of parliament came to Yalova on June 16 to conduct investigations and contacts.
Altınova Mayor Yasemin Fazlaca Doğancı stated that after the report consisting of the observations and findings of the member of parliament was sent to the headquarters, the issue was brought to the agenda in the CHP MYK meeting held on June 23, saying, "It has been unanimously decided to refer Altınova Mayor Yasemin Fazlaca and Municipal Council Member Sinan Aydın to the High Disciplinary Board with a request for expulsion due to actions that undermine party discipline. We will continue to follow the process regarding the decision made by our Central Executive Board of CHP, the ongoing disciplinary process, and other developments, and we will keep the public informed."
