It was claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump raised his voice to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone call, saying "Stop the attack," as Israeli warplanes advanced towards Tehran following the ceasefire he announced between Israel and Iran.
TRUMP AND NETANYAHU TENSE
According to a report by Israel's Jerusalem Post, based on a senior Israeli source, the phone call between Trump and Netanyahu in the morning was conducted in a harsh tone. While Israel accused Iran of violating the ceasefire and sent warplanes towards Tehran, Trump and Netanyahu spoke on the phone.
"STOP THE ATTACK"
The report stated that Trump raised his voice to Netanyahu, saying "Stop the attack," while Netanyahu reportedly expressed his gratitude to Trump repeatedly during the conversation, without being able to say much. An Israeli source shared that "the conversation between Netanyahu and Trump was difficult, and the U.S. President clearly emphasized that he viewed the ceasefire as a success and that no one, absolutely no one, would be allowed to break it."
In response, it was noted that Israeli Air Force pilots received orders to stop the attacks, and instead of the planned targets, they hit a radar station in Tehran as a concession. Meanwhile, the report also mentioned that the U.S. sent a message to the Iranians via Qatar, urging them not to continue the attacks.
CEASEFIRE BETWEEN ISRAEL AND IRAN
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a ceasefire had been implemented after 12 days of attacks between Israel and Iran, and Israel had stated that it accepted this. Israel claimed that a missile was fired around 10:00 AM, asserting that Iran violated the ceasefire.
In response, threats from Israel to retaliate harshly against Iran had increased. Israeli media later reported that after the Israeli army targeted a radar station in Tehran, the warplanes left the area. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran and Israel had violated the established ceasefire and that he was not pleased with this situation.
After the ceasefire, Trump noted that Israel had attacked "in an unprecedented manner," stating, "I am not pleased with them. I am not pleased with Iran either, but I am certainly not happy with what Israel did this morning."
