YOUNG GIRLS ATTACKED A MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE
The incident occurred yesterday around 3:00 PM on Ata Street. A dispute broke out between Mustafa Ç., a Balçova Municipality employee, and Simge K. and Tuana B. for an undetermined reason. As the argument escalated, one of the parties hit Mustafa Ç. with the handle of a cleaning brush, while the other knocked over his motorcycle and kicked the items on it. The duo, who also obstructed those trying to break up the fight, pushed a woman to the ground and kicked another woman.
BOTH HAVE BEEN ARRESTED
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the area following a tip-off. The police detained the two suspects. Injured Mustafa Ç. was taken to Dokuz Eylul University Hospital by paramedics and was discharged after treatment. The two suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were arrested by the court they were brought to at the courthouse.
Meanwhile, the moment of the incident was recorded by a bystander's mobile phone camera. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
