In the Sincan district of Ankara, a retired sergeant major killed his wife and one daughter with a pistol, and injured another daughter before taking his own life.
After a dispute with his wife D.B. and two daughters in the Sincan district of Ankara, retired Sergeant R.B. opened fire on his family members with his gun. While the mother and one daughter lost their lives in the incident, the other daughter was injured. R.B. committed suicide.
FAMILY DISPUTE TURNED INTO A MASSACRE
The incident occurred around 10:30 PM in the Sincan district. Retired Sergeant R.B. had an argument with his wife and daughters. During the dispute within the family, R.B. allegedly took his service pistol and fired at his wife D.B. and daughters I.N.B. and S.B. The mother and 2 daughters collapsed to the ground from the bullets that hit their bodies. After the incident, R.B. also shot himself with the same gun.
3 DEAD, 1 INJURED
Upon hearing the gunshots, neighbors alerted the police and medical teams to the address. In the examination conducted by the medical personnel, it was determined that father R.B., his wife D.B., and daughter I.N.B. had lost their lives, while the other daughter S.B. was injured. After the intervention, S.B. was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The lifeless bodies of the deceased father, wife, and daughter were taken to the hospital morgue after the crime scene investigation.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
It was stated that 2 public prosecutors from the Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor's Office have been assigned to the case, and the investigation is ongoing.
