Another question mark has been added to the mystery surrounding the death of Roketsan engineer Yusuf Serdar Yücel. It has been revealed that the 25-year-old engineer conducted research on the internet about "suicide methods" and "substances that can cause death in a short time" shortly before his death during the examination of his mobile phone.

25-year-old Yusuf Serdar Yücel, who was working as a software engineer at Roketsan and had been missing for days, was found dead at his residence in Yenimahalle, Ankara, on January 3. Investigations revealed that the young engineer died after ingesting sodium nitrate.

SEARCHED FOR "SUICIDE METHODS" ON THE INTERNET

Yücel's mobile phone was taken for examination. According to information obtained from security sources, it was revealed that the young engineer had conducted research on the internet about "suicide methods" and "substances that can cause death in a short time" shortly before his death. The examinations of Yücel's lifeless body reported no signs of assault or similar marks. It was also stated that there was no indication of a murder and that there was no forced entry into the house in question.

FATHER SAID "HE WAS EXECUTED"

The young engineer's retired police father, Ahmet Yücel, stated that he examined his son's body at the morgue with his former colleagues. Ahmet Yücel said, "From the marks we observed, we believe that my son was subdued with a gun to the back of his neck while kneeling, and then suffocated with a bag and poisoned with a substance. He had spots on his face and pressure marks on his shoulders. The rest of his body was completely clean. His right foot and right hand indicated the position in which the incident occurred. After this execution, false news spread, and fake evidence was produced. I could not receive support from official authorities during this process. I am complaining about the disinformation and evidence tampering attempts regarding my son's death."
