According to the information received, a dispute broke out between M.Y. (39) and his brother-in-law H.A. (47) in the Kaletepe neighborhood due to a feud between them. As the argument escalated, M.Y. shot H.A. with a gun and then shot himself with the same weapon. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Teams determined that M.Y. had lost his life. H.A., who was seriously injured, could not be saved despite intervention at the Yüksek İhtisas Hospital. It was learned that M.Y., who served as a sergeant in Tekirdağ and was on annual leave, had been living separately from his wife for a while, which led to a feud with his brother-in-law H.A.
