SALIM GÜRAN CLAIMED THE CONVERSATIONS WERE RELATED TO A WHITE VEHICLE

As part of the investigation, uncle Salim Güran was arrested on September 2, and R.A., who was taken into custody and referred to the duty magistrate with a request for arrest, was released under judicial control but was re-arrested upon the prosecutor's request and was arrested by the duty magistrate on September 14. In the justification for R.A.'s arrest, it was stated that the search efforts for Narin were attempted to be hindered by "artificial reports aimed at diverting attention and distracting actions." Salim Güran was re-interrogated by three prosecutors conducting the investigation at the Diyarbakır Courthouse, where he was brought from prison on September 14. When asked about the phone conversations he had with R.A., the son of the detained Mehmet Selim Atasoy, at different times on the day of the incident, Salim Güran stated that they might have talked about issues related to the field and that he did not remember the content of the conversations. When asked about the content of the conversations he had at 18:37, 18:42, 18:51, and 18:54, Salim Güran claimed that the conversations were related to the white vehicle (the vehicle belonging to his brother Fuat Güran that he used on the day of the incident) that they considered "suspicious."
