A primary school teacher in New Jersey, USA, became pregnant after sexually abusing her 13-year-old student. The horrifying incident came to light when the now 20-year-old young man's father shared, "The teacher's son looks a lot like my son."
The horrifying incident took place in the state of New Jersey, USA. According to a statement from the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, 34-year-old teacher Laura Caron has been arrested on charges of having given birth to a child fathered by her 13-year-old student.

According to ABC6, 34-year-old Caron, a fifth-grade teacher at Middle Township Elementary School in southern New Jersey, first met the child, born in 2005, while teaching him and his sibling. It was reported that the sexual abuse began in 2016 when the student was around 11 years old. At that time, the student was living with his siblings at Caron's home and would occasionally wake up in Caron's bed. The complaint states that the investigation into the alleged sexual abuse began in December after the victim's father shared on Facebook that Caron's 5-year-old child resembled him and his son.
TEACHER ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT
The complaint indicates that the victim confessed in a text message and phone conversation with family members that the child's father was himself. On January 15, 2025, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, Middle Township Police, and Special Victims Unit took Caron into custody before the incident escalated. Investigators also executed a court-authorized search warrant at her home. Prosecutors stated that the Middle Township School District has been informed of the investigation and is currently cooperating with law enforcement. Counseling and support services are also being offered to affected students, staff, and families. Prosecutors said Caron remained in jail on Wednesday while awaiting her first court appearance. It is unclear whether Caron has an attorney who can comment on her behalf.
