A young teacher who fell from the balcony window of the fifth floor in Karaman and was seriously injured could not be saved at the hospital where she was taken and passed away. The teacher's mother, who became unwell after the incident, was also taken to the hospital.
An English teacher, Ebru Koçak, 40, who fell from the 5th-floor balcony in Karaman, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but could not be saved. After the incident, her mother, Medine Koçak, also fainted and was taken to the hospital. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
FELL TO THE CONCRETE GROUND FROM THE 5TH FLOOR
The incident occurred in the evening at the 5th floor of the 6-story Emiş Hatun Apartment located on 1376th Street in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Ebru Koçak, the 40-year-old teacher, who went out to the balcony to get some fresh air while her mother was performing ablution for prayer, suddenly lost her balance and fell approximately 15 meters to the concrete ground.
MOTHER FAINTED
Upon the notification of neighbors who witnessed Ebru teacher's fall from the balcony, health and police teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Heavily injured, Koçak was taken to Karaman Training and Research Hospital after the first intervention by the health team that arrived at the address. After the incident, her mother, Medine Koçak, fainted.
DIED
While the fainting mother was being calmed down by the police teams, the elderly woman was taken to the hospital by the summoned health team. Despite all the interventions made here, Ebru teacher, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, could not be saved and lost her life.
The crime scene investigation team also conducted an examination on the balcony from which Ebru teacher fell. It was learned that Ebru Koçak was an English teacher at Yunus Emre Middle School located in Sekiçeşme Neighborhood. The investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
