Minutes before iftar in Gümüşhane, a collision between two cars head-on resulted in 1 death and 3 injuries.
The car driven by Ali Ç., which was moving towards Gümüşhane from Trabzon, collided head-on with the vehicle driven by Hacıbey G., coming from the opposite direction, due to the slippery road caused by rain in front of the Old Hospital area.
4 PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED
As a result of the collision that occurred just minutes before iftar, Ali K., who was in the front passenger seat of one of the vehicles, was seriously injured. In addition to the drivers Ali Ç. and Hacıbey G., Emine Ç., who was in one of the cars, sustained minor injuries.
Upon notification, health and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire teams intervened to rescue the injured trapped in the vehicle. After the initial intervention by the health teams, the injured were taken to Gümüşhane State Hospital for treatment.
NOT SAVED
Ali K., who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions and lost his life. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
