A terrible İETT accident in Sancaktepe: There are dead and injured.

An İETT bus traveling towards Kadıköy collided head-on with an SUV coming from the opposite direction in the Sancaktepe district of Istanbul. In the accident, 3 passengers on the bus and 2 people in the SUV were injured.

1 PERSON LOST THEIR LIFE

Upon the notification of the surrounding people, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire team that arrived at the scene rescued a person trapped in the SUV. It was determined that the person handed over to the medical teams had died at the scene.

THE MOMENTS WERE CAPTURED ON CAMERA

4 injured individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment after the first intervention, while the deceased person was transported to the hospital morgue by a funeral vehicle. The TEM connection road, which was closed to two-way traffic due to the accident, was reopened after the investigation was completed and the vehicles were removed from the road. The moment of the accident was recorded by the vehicle camera in the İETT bus. The police have launched an investigation regarding the accident.
