It is learned that Halil Ağa, who lived during the Ottoman Empire, did not have much happiness with his wives according to the legend. Halil Ağa had a troubled relationship with his first wife and could not find the happiness he was looking for in his second marriage either.
HIS MOTHER ALSO HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE BRIDES
As Halil Ağa faced issues with both of his wives, the troubles were compounded by his mother's conflicts with the brides, leading him to spend his days, months, and even years struggling with the never-ending problems among the three of them.
Over time, Halil Ağa, who fell ill from his troubles and wanted to take revenge on both of his wives before passing away, went to one of the imams of the time and requested that the following sentence be inscribed on his tombstone after his death:
Deceased and forgiven
To the mercy of my Lord, the Forgiving
Died from the nagging of his wife
Es-Seyyid Halil Ağa
Fatiha for his soul
Year 1260 (1844)
