A Turkish professor who went missing in England has not been heard from.

The TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers İzmir Branch reported that its member, Prof. Dr. Orhan Ekren, has been missing in England since November 26. In a statement regarding the matter from the TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers İzmir Branch, it was noted that the London Consulate is actively involved in the process to find the missing Ekren.

SEARCH OPERATIONS CONTINUE

The written statement regarding the matter included the following: "Since November 26, 2024, we have not been able to get any news from Prof. Dr. Orhan Ekren, who is one of the valuable members of the TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers İzmir Branch and serves as a faculty member at Cranfield University. We have received information that the police forces in England are continuously carrying out search operations and that the London Consulate is actively involved in the process.
