A woman killed her husband by strangling him because he sold the anklet he took from his mother's house. The incident took place in a village called Umari in the Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh. The area falls under the jurisdiction of the Salon police station. The victim, identified as Narsingh Yadav, was a farmer by profession. His wife was arrested and confessed to the crime. Narsingh Yadav had been married twice. While his first wife was identified as Pushpa Devi, he married his second wife, Vimala Pasi, eight years ago. Yadav was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Initially, Vimala Pasi reported to the police that her husband had died under suspicious circumstances. After conducting an autopsy, the police determined that Yadav had been strangled to death. As a result, the police considered Vimala Pasi as the main suspect and kept her under close surveillance. During police interrogation, Vimala Pasi stated that her husband was an alcoholic. Pasi mentioned that her husband sold the anklet he took from his mother's house to buy alcohol. A fight broke out between the couple when her husband returned home drunk. In a fit of anger, Pasi strangled her husband to death.
