A hotel operator in Mexico who refused to pay extortion fees to drug cartels was shot at by the cartels.

Although a deadly war is being waged against drug cartels in Mexico, the success achieved is quite limited. In the North American country, since 2006, more than 300,000 people have witnessed death due to the war between cartels and security forces, as well as attacks on civilians.

UNDER A RAIN OF BULLETS

Recently, a woman who operated a hotel in one of the country's most touristy areas became a target of the cartels. According to footage circulating on social media, the woman, who refused to pay extortion, was caught in a rain of bullets by the cartels.

CAPTURED ON CAMERA

In the footage captured by the hotel's security camera, a cartel member wearing a motorcycle helmet and vest is seen entering through the door and, after a while, drawing a gun from his waist and firing four shots at the unfortunate woman. The hotel operator, taken by surprise, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood.
