FELL INTO A WELL DURING ROAD WORK



During road construction works in Beldibi Neighborhood, Nafiz Özkul fell into a well with a height of approximately 30 meters for an unknown reason. Upon notification of the situation, fire, health, AFAD, Search and Rescue (CAK), and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Teams mobilized to rescue the person who fell into the well.

As a result of approximately two and a half hours of work, teams from the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department descended into the well and reached Özkul's lifeless body.

The relatives of Özkul, who arrived at the scene after being informed of the situation, experienced a nervous breakdown. After the examination, Özkul's lifeless body was sent to the hospital morgue, and an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
