Ümit Özdağ, the leader of the Victory Party, who is detained in Silivri Prison, reacted to the scheduling of the first hearing date in the case against him for June 11. Özdağ stated, "I will remain in detention for the next two months. Keeping the leader of a political party in prison for 2.5 months and then holding him in solitary confinement for another two months with an empty indictment is not justice."

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ, who is detained in Marmara Prison in Silivri, reacted to the postponement of the first hearing date in the case against him to two months later.

HEARING DATE SET FOR JUNE 11

The first hearing date in the case against Özdağ, who is detained in Marmara Prison, has been set for June 11, 2025.

"I WILL CONTINUE TO BE DETAINED FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS"

In a statement shared on Özdağ's social media account, the following expressions were used: "Today, the 16th Criminal Court of First Instance set the first hearing date for June 11, 2025. I will continue to be detained for the next 2 months."

"THE GREAT TURKISH NATION IS THE CHILD OF ÜMİT ÖZDAĞ"

It is not justice to keep a political party chairman in prison for 2.5 months and then hold him alone in a cell for another 2 months with an empty indictment. We have seen this once again: I, Ümit Özdağ, am being held hostage for Öcalan. The Great Turkish Nation is the child of Ümit Özdağ and is entrusted only to God and you."
