The 11th President Abdullah Gül and his wife Hayrunnisa Gül met with King Charles III of the United Kingdom during the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies in England.

The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS), operating under the University of Oxford in England and conducting academic studies on the Islamic world, celebrated its 40th anniversary.

An event was held at the Centre's campus in Oxford. The event brought together academics, opinion leaders, and state representatives from around the world.

Former President Abdullah Gül and his wife Hayrünnisa Gül also attended the event. Abdullah Gül and Hayrünnisa Gül chatted with King Charles III of England. Gül also participated in the Centre's Board of Trustees meeting.

In a post on his social media account, Gül stated: "Together with my wife, I attended the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, which was also attended by King Charles III, and I participated in the Board of Trustees meetings in Oxford.
