Abdüllatif Şener's son was arrested for the crime of "insulting the President."

Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Abdüllatif Şener's son Şamil Şener was detained by the Yenimahalle District Police Department teams on charges of 'insulting the President'. After the detention, Şener's son was arrested by the court he was brought to and sent to prison.

It was alleged that Şamil Şener insulted while passing by the Presidential Complex in Beştepe by opening the window of his car.

HIS OTHER SON HAD ALSO KILLED HIS GRANDMOTHER

Bedirhan Şener, who resides in the Güvenevler neighborhood of Çankaya district in Ankara and is alleged to have psychological issues, had killed his grandmother Leyla Çetiner with a gun on July 31. Police teams who arrived at the scene detained Bedirhan Şener, and he was arrested by the court he was brought to and sent to prison.
