"EVERYONE IS UNITED"
Sharing his thoughts about the Glasgow Rangers match, Acun Ilıcalı said, "I do not make predictions before matches. Something happened to me before a match. I hope for a favorable score. The team is on a roll. They make us proud. Everyone, whether playing or not, is united. The support from those who are outside increases the strength of the squad. We are favorites, but this is football. I believe we will win," he said.
"WE STARTED LATE BUT WE STARTED WELL"
Acun Ilıcalı also stated, "We are ambitious in both the cup and the league. We started a bit late, but we started well, we opened beautifully. We have accelerated towards the final stretch. From now on, it is up to fate," he expressed.
"GOD WILLING, A REQUEST FOR A FOREIGN REFEREE WILL COME FROM GALATASARAY"
Expressing his desire for a foreign referee to officiate the match against Galatasaray in the cup, Acun Ilıcalı said, "We have been matched with Galatasaray in the cup. Congratulations. Having it in Kadıköy is an advantage for us. I heard that there is a request for a foreign referee. I hope it comes. We would be very happy. We do not have a claim of 'let's play with local referees in Kadıköy, and with foreign referees outside.' Our goal is to bring justice. I hope such a request comes from there as well. I wish for a foreign referee to officiate. We are ambitious in all three competitions," he stated.
