Afghan Irregular Migrants Held In Southern Turkey

All 9 of them referred to provincial migration office.

A group of nine Afghan nationals were held in Turkey's southern province of Osmaniye over entering the country illegally.

According to the local security forces, the irregular migrants were traveling in separate vehicles when they were stopped for an ID check.

The irregular migrants were later referred to the provincial migration center where they said they paid human traffickers $2,000 per head to enter the country.

The drivers of the vehicles were also detained.
