The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has launched an investigation into the series "Jasmine," in which Asena Keskinci, who made scandalous claims about Evrim Akın, stars, due to obscene scenes.
The scandalous scenes in the series Jasmine, starring Asena Keskinci, who shook the tabloid agenda with her allegations about her co-star Evrim Akın in the series Bez Bebek, have caught the attention of RTÜK.
BOMB ALLEGATIONS ABOUT EVRİM AKIN
Asena Keskinci, who starred alongside Evrim Akın in the series 'Bez Bebek' aired between 2007-2010, made shocking statements years later, claiming that Akın had subjected her to psychological and physical violence. Keskinci also pointed to Akın as the reason for her parents' divorce.
COMPLAINTS FLOODED TO RTÜK
While the tabloid world debated these allegations, the +18 scenes in the first episode of the series Jasmine, starring Asena Keskinci, drew reactions. Following the criticisms and complaints, RTÜK took action.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
In a statement regarding the series Jasmine, starring actress Asena Keskinci, known for Bez Bebek, RTÜK stated:
"An investigation has been initiated by the Radio and Television Supreme Council due to the content of the production titled 'Jasmine', which targets the family structure that forms the basis of Turkish society, clearly contradicts our national and spiritual values, exploits women, and is contrary to general morality."
In the continuation of RTÜK's statement, it was noted:
"As RTÜK, we emphasize at every opportunity that broadcasting activities should not harm the moral values of society, its cultural fabric, and especially the institution of family."

Investigations are being meticulously carried out by our Monitoring and Evaluation Experts against broadcasts that damage our family structure, target our social values, and disturb the public conscience through normalization; necessary steps will be taken decisively within the framework of the relevant legislation. The Radio and Television Supreme Council will continue its mission to protect the moral and cultural values of society, as it has in the past, and will continue to take all necessary measures against broadcasts that target the family institution and damage the social structure.
