With the inflation data for November, a new table has emerged for the civil servant salary increase. The inflation difference over the past five months is 11.21%, while the cumulative increase for civil servants, including the collective bargaining raise, has reached 17.57%. The final raise rate will be confirmed with the announcement of the December inflation.
With the inflation data for November, the 5-month table for civil servant and retiree salary increases has become clear. According to current calculations, there is a 17.57% increase for civil servants, while the final increase rate will be determined by the inflation rate in December.
5-MONTH INFLATION DIFFERENCE CLARIFIED
According to the data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.87% on a monthly basis in November. With this rate, annual inflation rose to 31.07%. With monthly increases of 2.06% in July, 2.04% in August, 3.23% in September, and 2.55% in October, the cumulative inflation rate for 5 months was determined to be 11.21%. The final increase rate will be announced with the December inflation data on January 3.
NEW CALCULATION FOR CIVIL SERVANT SALARY INCREASE
Civil servants receive salary increases twice a year based on collective bargaining agreements and inflation differences. The collective bargaining increase determined for the first half of 2026 was set at 11%. Accordingly, the cumulative increase rate reached 17.57%. In addition to this increase, a base monthly increase of 1,000 TL will also be applied.
WHAT IS THE LOWEST CIVIL SERVANT SALARY NOW?
According to the calculations made with the November data, the lowest civil servant salary, which is currently 43,726 TL, has risen to 60,366 TL after the increase. The lowest civil servant pension was calculated to be 27,651 TL.
INCREASE RATE FOR SSK AND BAĞ-KUR RETIREES
The 5-month inflation difference for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees was 11.21%. Accordingly, the lowest pension, which was 16,881 TL, has increased to 18,773 TL.
FINAL INCREASE WILL BE CLARIFIED ON JANUARY 3
The definitive increase rate for civil servant and retiree salaries will be determined by the inflation data for December, which will be announced on January 3, 2026. Additionally, the option to close the gap between civil servants and retirees with a welfare share is also on the agenda.
