In the joint attacks of the United States and Israel, Iranian religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in his office. While a 40-day national mourning was declared in the country, the people gathered in Revolution Square in Tehran, carrying Khamenei's photo, swore vengeance and shed tears. In a mosque in the city of Mashhad, the public mourned Khamenei's death by beating their chests.

After the death of Iranian religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who lost his life in the joint attacks of the USA and Israel, the public was plunged into mourning. Protests were held in many regions of Iran. 

THE PUBLIC GATHERED IN REVOLUTION SQUARE

According to Iranian media, people took to the streets with Iranian flags in many cities of the country. The crowd gathered in Revolution Square in Tehran mourned and shed tears while carrying a photo of Khamenei. 

THEY CHANTED DEATH TO THE USA AND ISRAEL

The pro-regime crowd chanted death slogans against the USA and Israel while holding Khamenei posters. Hundreds of people gathered at the shrine of Hazrat Masume in Qom and cursed the USA and Israel. 

THEY MOURN BY POUNDING THEIR CHESTS

Images emerged of the public mourning the death of Ali Khamenei in a mosque in the city of Mashhad. It was seen that the people were mourning with tears in their eyes while pounding their chests. 

A BLACK FLAG WAS RAISED AT THE IMAM REZA SHRINE

Meanwhile, a black flag was raised on the dome of the Imam Reza Shrine in Mashhad, and Iranians who came to the area shed tears due to Khamenei's death.

Commemorative and protest demonstrations are being held in many cities across the country.

Iranian state television announced that Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei lost his life in the attack carried out by the USA and Israel yesterday.
