Iran's state television confirmed that the country's religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died in attacks by the US and Israel. Following Khamenei's death, a 40-day mourning period was declared in Iran.

IRAN CONFIRMED KHAMENEI'S DEATH The clearest development occurred from the attacks of the US and Israel. The fate of Iranian religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was indicated as the number one target by US President Donald Trump, has been revealed. The Iranian state television confirmed that Khamenei was killed in the attacks by the US and Israel. A 40-day mourning period has been declared in the country.
Ali Khamenei TRUMP: KHAMENEI, ONE OF THE WORST PEOPLE IN HISTORY, IS DEAD On the other hand, US President Donald Trump also stated in his announcement that Khamenei is dead. In a statement on his social media account, Trump said: "Khamenei, one of the worst people in history, is dead. This is justice not only for the Iranian people but also for all Great Americans and people from many countries around the world who were killed or maimed by Khamenei and his bloodthirsty gang of thugs. He could not escape from our intelligence and Extremely Advanced Tracking Systems, and by working closely with Israel, there was nothing he or the other leaders killed alongside him could do.

We hear that many Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), the Army, and other Security and Police Forces no longer want to fight and are expecting Impunity from us. As I said last night: "Now they can get Impunity, later they will only get Death!" We hope that the IRGC and Police will peacefully unite with Iranian Patriots and work together as a unit to bring the country back to the Great level it deserves.
"THE COUNTRY WAS DEVASTATED IN A DAY" This process must begin soon; because not only with Khamenei's death, the country has been largely destroyed, even devastated in just one day. However, heavy and pinpoint bombings will continue uninterrupted as long as necessary to achieve our peace goal in the Middle East and even around the world! CASUALTIES IN IRAN REACH 201, INJURED NUMBER 747 The first statement regarding the attacks came from Iran. The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 201 people lost their lives and 747 were injured in the attacks in 24 cities.
The heaviest loss in the US and Israel's attack on Iran occurred at an elementary school. The death toll increased once again in the attack on the "Shajarat al-Tayyiba Girls' Elementary School" in the city of Minab, located in Hormozgan province in southern Iran. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baghaei announced that 150 girl students lost their lives in the attack.

"BARBARIC ACT, A DARK PAGE IN THE RECORDS OF COUNTLESS CRIMES" This barbaric act is yet another dark page in the records of countless crimes committed by the aggressors against this land, and it will never be erased from the historical memory of our nation.
While I strongly condemn this inhumane act, I extend my condolences to the families of the martyrs, the honorable people of Minab, and the entire Iranian nation for this tragedy and share in their deep sorrow. I also request all aid and health centers in the region and relevant authorities to prioritize the urgent and uninterrupted care of the injured and their families by mobilizing all resources. I pray to Almighty God that those who fell martyr in this unfortunate event reach the highest ranks, that the injured recover quickly, and that He grants patience and peace to their honorable families.
US BASES WERE TARGETED The Iranian army announced that it has launched counterattacks against Israel with dozens of ballistic missiles and drones in response to the attacks by the US and Israel. Iran targeted US bases simultaneously in countries such as Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan with missile attacks, while the US naval base in Bahrain was hit.
THY CANCELS FLIGHTS TO 10 COUNTRIES Following Israel and Iran, Iraq, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Syria also closed their airspace, and all civilian flights were canceled. Due to the closure of airspace, Turkish Airlines (THY) canceled its flights to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
PLANNED MONTHS IN ADVANCE, EXPECTED TO LAST 4 DAYS US security sources speaking to Israeli media stated that the operation was jointly planned months in advance in coordination with the US, and the date of the attack was determined weeks ago. Sources indicated that Israel would use "all its power" in this operation and that the US was "of the same opinion." They stated that the first phase of the joint attacks was planned to last 4 days, emphasizing that the purpose of conducting the first attacks in the morning hours was to surprise the Iranians.
IRAN HAS CLOSED THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ Iran announced that it has closed the Strait of Hormuz, which is vital for global oil transportation.
The Revolutionary Guards emphasized that access to oil routes has been blocked and no ships will be allowed to pass.
ATTACKS BY THE US AND ISRAEL ON IRAN AND IRAN'S RETALIATIONS While the negotiation process between Iran and the US continues, Israel and the US launched joint attacks on Iran in the early hours of the morning.
