Turkish citizens stranded in Dubai due to Iran's retaliations against the U.S. stated that they could not reach the consulate. Many people whose flights were canceled and who did not know what to do requested help from the authorities. Sharing the relevant footage, İYİ Party member Turhan Çömez said, "Citizens who cannot reach you are reaching out to us for help! Don't you have a duty officer on call 24/7 for emergencies?"
Due to the increased activity in the airspace following Iran's retaliations against the USA, many Turkish citizens in Dubai had their flights canceled. The stranded citizens stated that they could not reach the consulate and requested assistance from the authorities.
"WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM OFFICIAL AUTHORITIES"
Passengers who were forced to wait at the airport due to the cancellation of flights expressed that they did not know what to do and that they had not received a response from official authorities. As the images were shared on social media, the situation also sparked political debate.

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez shared the relevant images and called on the authorities. Çömez stated, "Citizens who cannot reach you are turning to us for help! Don't you have on-duty officials available 24/7 in emergencies?"
Çömez also reacted by saying, "Aren't you helping our citizens who are waiting with anxiety?" The way to ensure the return of citizens stranded in Dubai to Turkey and any possible statements from official authorities are eagerly awaited.
