After it was revealed that the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality organized a concert for Ebru Gündeş costing 69 million lira and paid millions of lira to other artists as well, an investigation was launched. Mayor Mansur Yavaş dismissed Haluk Erdemir, the Director of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, and Hacı Ali Bozkurt, the Coordinator of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, in relation to the concert scandal.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation regarding the concert scandal involving hundreds of millions of lira that has drawn public backlash, and the prosecutor's office has written to the Ministry of Interior to initiate an examination. While the investigations are ongoing, a notable move has come from Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

TWO NAMES REMOVED FROM OFFICE

As part of the ongoing investigation related to the concerts at the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, the Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, Haluk Erdemir, and the Coordinator of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, Hacı Ali Bozkurt, have been removed from their positions. It has been learned that the decision was made upon the instruction of Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

THE SCANDAL ERUPTED WITH EBRU GÜNDEŞ'S CONCERT

It has been claimed that the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality organized a concert for Ebru Gündeş worth 69 million lira on October 29 and paid millions of lira to other artists as well, which has kept the agenda buzzing for days. Mansur Yavaş held a press conference regarding the concert scandal. During the press conference held by Yavaş, it was revealed that a total of 810 million TL had been spent on concerts over five years. Yavaş stated regarding the issue, "It seems like there is a huge waste, and you are making a fuss about it."
