After the confessions of the secret witness, Narin's uncle was taken to the gendarmerie for further questioning.

The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing 20 days ago in Diyarbakır, was found yesterday in a stream bed 2 km away from her home.

CONFESSIONS OF A SECRET WITNESS CAUSED A STIR

While the investigation, in which 25 people were detained, continues without slowing down, the confessions of a secret witness who is under custody caused a stir in a short period of time.

"HE OFFERED ME 200 THOUSAND TL TO HIDE THE BODY"

The secret witness, who stated that Narin's uncle Salim Güran offered him 200 thousand TL to hide the body in a sack and that he did what was asked, said, "I found a place near the tree that was not very deep. There was some water here. I put her throat in the sack. I put a stone on top of the sack, thinking that someone would find it. The size of the stone was about 15-20 kilos. There were also stones next to it. I didn't put any bushes on top because it was already covered. Then I got out of here and got in my car. After getting off the paved road, I went to my sister-in-law's house."

UNCLE TAKEN TO GENDARMERIE FOR QUESTIONING

After the striking confessions of the secret witness, an interesting development occurred. Narin's uncle Salim Güran, who is in prison, was taken to the gendarmerie for questioning again.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 21, when Narin Güran went to the Quran course in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, she did not return home after the course, so her family searched for her on their own. When no results were obtained from the search, Narin's father Arif Güran reported that his daughter was missing around 20.00 on the same day. As a result, many search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in the houses in the neighborhood and the vehicles entering the village.

While the search efforts were ongoing, Narin Güran's brother E.G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. When it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin in the examination at Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute, E.G. was released.

Then Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was detained. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his car matched the DNA samples from Narin's clothes, was arrested for "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty".

The teams, who focused on the previously searched areas again, conducted a search in Eğertutmaz Stream, which is 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and found Narin's lifeless body on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was thrown into the stream with a sack after being killed, and the sack was covered with a stone.
