THE FIRE IN BEYKOZ STARTED FROM A SIGNAL FLARE
In Beykoz, in the Çiğdem neighborhood, it was claimed that a fire broke out in the forested area after an unidentified person threw a signal flare into the region. The fire was extinguished quickly by the intervention of the fire brigade before it could grow. Approximately 200 square meters of area was damaged in the fire.
Police teams identified the house from which the signal flare that caused the fire was thrown and detained 22-year-old A.A., who threw the flare. It was learned that in his initial statement at the police station, the suspect said he threw the signal flare for entertainment purposes and reported the fire to the fire brigade after it broke out in the forest.
