As a result of Israel's evacuation orders, Palestinians are fleeing from Han Yunus, the second largest city in Gaza. It has been reported that eight people have died and more than 30 people have been injured as a result of Israeli attacks. Patients and healthcare personnel at the European Gaza Hospital are also being evacuated. The Israeli Defense Forces stated that they have attacked terrorist targets, weapon depots, and operation centers in response to rockets launched from the Han Yunus area towards Israel.

Palestinians began to flee from the areas east of Han Yunus, the second largest city in Gaza, following Israel's evacuation warning. Throughout the night and in the morning hours, several Israeli attacks took place in and around Han Yunus. Medical sources and the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that eight people were killed and more than 30 were injured.

HOSPITALS BEGIN TO BE EVACUATED

Patients and healthcare personnel at the European Gaza Hospital are also being evacuated. The health ministry under Hamas administration in Gaza requested the evacuation of the hospital. However, the Israeli army did not issue an official evacuation order for the hospital. The Red Cross assisted in transferring patients to another hospital.

Louise Wateridge, a representative from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), asked where people could go after being forced to leave their homes again. "In this area, people were already trying to survive in severely damaged buildings after the Rafah military operation," she said.

A large part of Han Yunus was heavily damaged during the Israeli attack against Hamas earlier this year.
