We urge our citizens to stay away from environments where masked individuals are present and not to participate in any unauthorized demonstrations. No tolerance will be shown to any attempt that disrupts public order." he stated.

Governor Gül also shared images of the gravestones that were damaged in the courtyard. After his post, he conducted an inspection at Şehzadebaşı Mosque and its courtyard, which was reported to have been damaged during unauthorized protests around Saraçhane Park. Gül toured the interior, courtyard, and surroundings of the mosque and received information from officials about the damage incurred. Governor Gül also chatted with police officers in the area.
CHP DELEGATION MET WITH GOVERNOR GÜL
Following the events, the CHP delegation met with Governor Gül. The CHP delegation announced that security measures would be increased to prevent tension from escalating following the iftar call in Saraçhane.
